Youthful Essence Buffs Away Age and Imperfection with At-Home System

What woman hasn’t searched for the fountain of youth? According to beauty product companies, it is just around the corner! With all the products on the market today, it can be difficult to decide what to even try, not to mention how to know what’s actually working. One product that’s gathered a lot of attention it the Youthful Essence system, which is promoted by soap opera star Susan Lucci.

Youthful Essence is an at-home microdermabrasion system. By exfoliating with this state-of-the-art system (at least, according to the manufacturers), users are supposed to gently scrub away the top layer of skin to reveal fresher, more youthful looking skin underneath. From the first application, Youthful Essence claims that the signs of aging and skin damage such as wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and sun spots are visibly reduced. Marketed as an at-home spa treatment (which costs a fraction of what a professional treatment in an actual spa would), the system is supposed to provide for gentle exfoliation and nourishment of the skin. The cream includes several botanical ingredients, such as micronized crystals for exfoliation, water, vitamins C and E for protection and anti-oxidant benefits, and other nourishing compounds such as safflower seed oil, wheat germ oil, carrot root extract, wheat germ extract, wheat bran extract, and beta carotene.
